Looking Down

Looking Down –

This week our challenge was to shoot looking down. Many times, we take the majority of our photos looking straight at the subject with the camera mostly level with the horizon, without considering what something looks like from above.

We can inspire our creativity by changing our perspective from our normal, default view of straight on, to some other perspective such as looking straight down.

I chose to shoot looking down into the middle of a rose, capturing the smooth curves of this beautiful flower, with all the shadows that are created within the curves.
