Mash-Up

Mash-Up

This week, we took on the challenge of creating our very own mashup – blending two objects that don’t usually go together, into one photo.  It was a great challenge to not only find those contrasting elements that would make a good photo, but also to learn how to composite images in Photoshop.

My choice was to blend a photo of a tennis ball into the center of a flower photo, using bold, complementary colors.   On first glance, it almost looks “right”, then if you look again, you will clearly see the two objects that don’t belong together.
