In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Vivid.”
Vivid imagination. Vivid description. Vivid dream. Vivid memory. Familiar concepts…but how to translate into a photograph??
I decided to photograph an object that has a vivid color; one that demands you to look at it.
I chose a dark blue, slightly textured background to complement the orange carrots, and with the pop of green I was pleased with the fresh and vivid outcome. Side light from about 2:00; with shadows slightly bounced back in from the left. ISO 250, f/5.6, 1/60 with 90mm lens.
I love photographing food, and a benefit to that is we will really enjoy some cooked carrots tonight with dinner, too!
